Hallo.
On my HP OMEN 16 16-ap0001nc with Fedora  43 (There are now windows currently) I want to update the bios uefi firmware according to this guide:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4123786-2338478-16

I chose the option "Update the BIOS manually from a USB flash drive (outside of Windows)".

I have successfully prepared the flash drive on a different computer with Windows.
When I reboot the computer and hit ESC I get to the bios setup menu:

Than I hit F2 and get to the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI menu:

But there is no option to update the BIOS.
Would you guide me to do the update please?

@Janek15,

If you want to update BIOS from a usb drive, your only other option is to use the key press combination method (press Win + B keys then power button).

Click the link below and go to "3. Manually Recover the BIOS" then "Recover the BIOS Using a USB Recovery Drive" for how to run BIOS update from a recovery usb drive.
