Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

After the latest Windows 11 update my notebook suddenly require a Bitlocker Activation Code. Of course I have never activated bitlocker myself and have never seen this code..

 

Instead of helping, almost every thread in this SUPPORT FORUM is being closed with the argument "4d blablabla" by the moderators.

 

Those threads don't pop out of nowhere but because there is a really serious bug in your general windows setup. Please forward all those requests to your tech-team, to provide a better user experience in the future and to avoid bugs on this scale. YOU, HP, are actively bricking devices.

 

To all users who currently encounter the same issue: If you are lucky, your code is stored in your MS account, so try logging in to check for the code. If not you can't do anything.... I was lucky, otherwise I would be twice as mad as I am anyway.. What a joke..
