Bitlocker same issue in 2022

Microsoft has locked up the codes to unlock my hard drive.  I know Envy is now discontinued but all my system checks say just Bitlocker is the problem, a tech from HP is the one that caused all this.  Now I may not bec able to  fix it since Microsoft won't let me recover my key

HP recovery tools can help with system restore, refresh, or full recovery, but they do not provide or recover BitLocker keys. The content only shows HP options for restoring or recovering the PC, and notes that recovery returns the PC to its factory condition and can remove personal data if you proceed with a full recovery.

• Try the least invasive options first: Microsoft System Restore, then Refresh, then full HP Recovery. HP Computer and Laptop System Recovery for Windows | HP® Support.
   
• HP Recovery is the last resort and returns the PC to original factory condition, which can wipe personal files/apps.
   
• If the drive has a serious issue, HP recovery media may be needed, especially if the internal recovery partition is unavailable.
   
• HP strongly recommends backing up files first before recovery steps, when possible.

If your issue is specifically that Microsoft will not let you recover your BitLocker key, I don’t know of a way to bypass that from the provided HP sources. The HP materials here do not include a method to retrieve a lost BitLocker recovery key.
 

Relevant HP recovery paths mentioned:

• System Restore: rolls back to an earlier working state without destroying data.
   
• Refresh: reinstalls system files/OS while aiming to keep files.
   
• HP Recovery / System Recovery: restores factory image and is the most drastic option.
