I am experiencing a serious issue with my HP EliteBook 845 G8 laptop. When I attempt to power it on, I am met with a black screen and noticeable fan noise. After several attempts, I sometimes manage to access the BIOS screen (please see the screenshot I’ve attached), and on rare occasions, the laptop starts up and functions normally.

 

 

However, once I shut it down, the fan noise stops, the screen remains black, but the side light stays on with a solid white light. When I try to turn it on again, the Caps Lock key blinks 7 times repeatedly.

 

 

I have already tried holding the power button for 15 seconds as a reset, but it did not resolve the issue.

 

 

Please advise on how to proceed, I rely heavily on this laptop for work, so a quick resolution would be highly appreciated.
