My computer boots up, but the screen is completely black. The Caps Lock key flashes twice, twice long and twice short. Yes, I understand there's a problem in the BIOS, but when I try to fix it with Win+B or Win+V, the computer keeps restarting. The operating system is Windows 11, and my computer model is Victus Gaming Laptop 16-r0075nt (8V899EA).

Hi @batu_27,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • When the laptop restarts after Win+B or Win+V, do you hear the fans or any beeps besides the Caps Lock flashes?
  • Have you recently updated the BIOS, installed new drivers, or made hardware changes?
  • Does the screen remain completely black (no HP logo or backlight) or do you see a faint glow?

In the meantime, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Hard Reset
    • Disconnect the power adapter.
    • Hold down the Power button for about 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
    • Reconnect the adapter and try powering on again.
  2. External Display Test
    • Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV using HDMI.
    • This helps determine if the issue is with the built-in display or the system itself.
  3. BIOS Recovery (Retry)
    • With the laptop off, press and hold Win + B (or Win + V), then press the Power button.
    • Keep holding the keys until you hear beeps or see the BIOS recovery screen.
    • If the system keeps restarting, note how many times it cycles before stopping.
  4. Check Adapter & Battery
  • Ensure the power adapter is working correctly and the battery is charged.

I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, there's no HP logo or backlight, and besides the Caps Lock key, there's fan noise but no beep. I've already done everything you suggested. I even installed it on a flash drive. When I press Win+B to turn on the computer, it just keeps restarting on a completely black screen.
