HP Pavilion - 15-cc665cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using HP Pavilion - 15-cc665cl.

After BIOS updates in Windows 10 (x64), I got a black screen. I have tried almost all the suggested methods, such as:

- Press Windows + B + Power button,

- Remove battery, press the power button more than 1 minutes, and then plug in the Adapter

- Remove RAM, and then also the SSD

- Use a USB containing BIOS update file

- Combine all the above steps.

I have tried them several times and watched several HP videos, but it did not work.

After googling for similar problems, I found some information that my BIOS chip or main may be damaged and need to be replaced. I am quite scared now because It may be impossible or very costly to repair/replace the damaged ones.

I hope that HP team can assist me with this problem.

Thank for the help.

It seems very costly to have my HP serviced in Tokyo.

Thinking about buying a new one,

Hello @Kid1685

See -> Maintenance and Service Guide

Remove (hard/SSD) drive(s) and RAM !

=> Sell notebook as a <spare part donor>.

The following parts are still valuable to sell:

- Cover/Housing

- Keyboard

- Touchpad

- Screen

- Webcam

- Wifi card

Good luck

Thank you for suggestion.

I will bring "him" back to my home country so that the unofficial  'specialist' there may save "him" with more afforadable price for me.

I will buy another one in Japan.
