Hi @Lusi_, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your OMEN 16-c0000 is experiencing a critical power or motherboard issue. Try these steps to troubleshoot:

Basic Power Reset (Hard Reset)

  1. Disconnect everything – unplug the charger and any connected peripherals.
  2. Press and hold the power button for 30-60 seconds.
  3. Leave the laptop off and unplugged for about 10 minutes.
  4. Plug in the charger without turning it on and check if the charge LED lights up.

Check the Power Adapter & Charging Port

  • Use another compatible HP charger if available.
  • Check if the charging port or cable is loose/damaged.
  • If you have a multimeter, check the output voltage of the charger.

Perform RTC Reset (if applicable)

Some OMEN models support an RTC reset:

  1. Unplug the charger.
  2. Press and hold Win + B, then press and hold the power button for 30-40 seconds.
  3. Release the power button but keep holding Win + B for a few more seconds.

Check for Hardware Damage

  • If there was a sudden power failure, an update failure, or overheating before the issue, it could be a motherboard or battery failure.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
