Hi @Lusi_, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your OMEN 16-c0000 is experiencing a critical power or motherboard issue. Try these steps to troubleshoot:
Basic Power Reset (Hard Reset)
- Disconnect everything – unplug the charger and any connected peripherals.
- Press and hold the power button for 30-60 seconds.
- Leave the laptop off and unplugged for about 10 minutes.
- Plug in the charger without turning it on and check if the charge LED lights up.
Check the Power Adapter & Charging Port
- Use another compatible HP charger if available.
- Check if the charging port or cable is loose/damaged.
- If you have a multimeter, check the output voltage of the charger.
Perform RTC Reset (if applicable)
Some OMEN models support an RTC reset:
- Unplug the charger.
- Press and hold Win + B, then press and hold the power button for 30-40 seconds.
- Release the power button but keep holding Win + B for a few more seconds.
Check for Hardware Damage
- If there was a sudden power failure, an update failure, or overheating before the issue, it could be a motherboard or battery failure.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
