Hi @Lokesh_rebari2

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

That blinking pattern is actually a diagnostic code—and 3 blinks from the Caps Lock key typically point to a RAM (memory) issue. It means your laptop is having trouble accessing or initializing the memory, which prevents it from booting up properly.

Here’s what you can try next:

🧠 Step-by-Step Fix for HP Laptop with 3 Caps Lock Blinks

1. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Unplug the power adapter.
  • If your laptop has a removable battery, take it out.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and power adapter, then try turning it on.

2. Reseat the RAM (If Accessible)

  • If you're comfortable opening the laptop:
    • Remove the bottom panel.
    • Carefully take out the RAM module(s).
    • Clean the contacts gently with a lint-free cloth.
    • Reinsert them firmly and evenly.
  • If you have two RAM sticks, try booting with just one at a time.

3. Try External Display (Just in Case)

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor.
  • If the screen shows up there, it could be a display issue rather than RAM.

4. Run HP Diagnostics (If Possible)

  • Power on and press Esc repeatedly.
  • If the Startup Menu appears, press F2 to run diagnostics.
  • If it doesn’t appear, the RAM issue may be preventing even basic startup.

If you’ve already tried these and the issue persists, it may be time to have the laptop checked at a service center. If it’s under warranty, HP phone support team can run deeper diagnostics and replace faulty hardware if needed.

Let me know your laptop model and whether you’re comfortable opening it—I can guide you through the reseating process step by step. You’ve done a great job troubleshooting so far! 💪💻
