Product: Notebook 15-ay041wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I went to go turn on my computer and I was directed to a blue screen. The only thing that has happened to this computer is that the battery came partly out and it was not hooked up to the power cord. Do I have to do a factory reset and lose all of the files and photos on my computer or is there something else that I can do?

Don't know -- as we need more information.  What specifically is showing on the screen?
