New laptop (< 2 months) is getting a blue screen lock up intermittently. Sometimes when idle and when active application.
Went through troubleshooting process, no help.
This should not happen with this hard drive.

Contact HP Support for service repair
- Drive must be replaced
- Windows operating system must be reinstalled

Thx. I got off with HP tech support and they want the O/S reinstalled. I'm skeptical this is the issue. The concern will be the next step of a new SSD. This means reinstall of all my stuff with a drive that has a history of defectiveness.
I'll try the Windows 11 re-install and see what happens.
