HP ENVY laptop - won't boot up, boot data configuration incorrect and no hard drive installed message. Tried all the tips re pressing ESC key, F2 key, F10 key etc.
Any hope of fixing this? 2020 model, not used much but perfectly okay last time used, a week ago.
TIA

I am not sure what you tried that worked and what did not.
What caused the problem in the first place?
Power glitch? Upgrade to windows 11?
Microsoft or HP update? Add a new device, memory, etc?
Have you run diagnostics? (ESC + F2)
Tap the ESC key after powering on to run diagnostics.
If the disk fails it might be possible to repair it by booting into safe mode and running the check disk tool.
Click here to see how to start your system in safe mode.
If you cannot start in safe mode do you see any windows screens such as asking if you want to do a startup repair?
If nothing shows up maybe a bad BIOS setting. Go into the BIOS setup and set every page to "default". Be sure to save when exiting the BIOS.
If none of the above worked you need a new drive.
Please provide the Product ID or Model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol. This code may be needed to find cloud recovery files.
