Hello there!
I have a boot problem.
First of all, I can only install OS with MBR partition mode (and not GPT) in my case by using a USB flash disk as the media to install OS.
But the main problem is after Installing the OS (I've tested windows 10 and linux ubuntu like thousands of times with different versions) the notebook is not able to load the OS, it sticks in hp logo screen and the hdd LED turns and remains on like it's being used.
I've checked hdd (Quick test) and it passed. Even tried windows 10 diagnosis in installation screen (startup repair) and it said "windows 10 couldn't repair the problem, a log has been saved in E:\windows\system32\..." (which I created just one partition but I suppose it called the drive E because a USB disk and DVD drive itsel may reserved C and D).
So what is the problem?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. The problem has been solved.
I set the mode to RAID so it could boot from hdd. Though for installing an OS AHCI should be set unless it couldn’t install the OS in my case.

Hi
I don't know.
I would make a W10 install USB from here... Create Windows 10 installation media
To get started, you will first need to have a licence to install Windows 10. You can then download and run the media creation tool. For more information on how to use the tool, see the instructions below.

Hi
You have Windows installed? ONLY Windows installed?
Then the next place to look / adjust is the boot manager sequence.
NOT THE BOOT ORDER.

YOU CAN SEE I HAVE FIVE BOOT MANAGERS.
Microsoft Windows may be second on your list, Ubuntu being alphabetically earlier.
If in doubt please ask.
