I have a HP Pavilion laptop that cycles bootup. I do not have a USB Boot drive or a recovery drive. My product number is N9E13UA#ABA. The serial number is Edited. I bought this laptop in 2017. It has been a very reliable unit. It just started this recently. Is there a way I can get a boot drive downloaded for my computer from the site?

Hi there,

You can create a Windows recovery or boot drive directly from another working computer. Just visit the official Microsoft Media Creation Tool  page and follow the steps to make a bootable USB drive. Once created, use it on your HP Pavilion to repair or reinstall Windows.

If you prefer the HP version, you can also check the HP Cloud Recovery Tool on HP’s support site — it lets you download the exact recovery image for your product number (N9E13UA#ABA).

Hope this helps!
