I did a harddrive test and received the following failure ID:
PLSAX3 - 80C9HN - GXGJLK - 61VU03
Anyone know what exactly this means and what to do about it?
My laptop does restart and I can work on it but the blue screen with a pc error/stopcode etc. keeps popping up.
Thanks!!

Hi:
The exact translation of the code is: Hard Disk 1 Optimized
I really have no idea what that means.
I googled the failure report and came across this discussion...
I'm thinking the hard drive may be on its way out, so back up any files you don't want to lose onto a portable hard drive.
If the issue becomes too bothersome, I suggest you replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
Consult the maintenance and service guide for your specific x360 model series for the HDD R & R procedure.
After you replace the hard drive, you can reinstall W10 for free as follows...
You can make a W10 USB flash drive installer with the Microsoft Media Creation Tool, using an 8 GB flash drive using another Windows PC, if your PC is not working.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 will install and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.
Here are the steps to create the W10 USB flash drive installer...
Select Download tool now, and select Run.
If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.
On the What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC, and then select Next.
Select the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit) for Windows 10. You want 64 bit.
Select which media you want to use:
USB flash drive. Plug in a blank USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space. Any content on the flash drive will be deleted.
Then you can reinstall the drivers and available software from the PC's support page.

Thanks for the reply. Does it help if I post the test log file? I don't even know if that is sensitive info that I should show, but if not, and you can see more from that, I could do that?
The issue is intermittent but is getting more regular. I had it before, but it disappeared for quite some time, until recently. Part of me is hoping the drive needs to be better connected, as suggested in some places.
Thanks.

You're very welcome.
You can post pretty much anything but personal info or the PC's serial number.
I wouldn't be able to interpret any reports/log files.
What you could do is to run the chkdsk utility and see if it can effect any repairs.

When you get one of those 24 character failure codes, 99% of the time, you have to replace the drive.
