Hello, i'm in a bit of a predicament.

So essentially, I accidentally hit escape on start up of my computer. It took me to a screen where at the bottom it said "Press esc to access startup". I did this for a good minute and a half and nothing happened. Can anyone help me? I tried all the f-# keys and it does nothing.

Have you tried shutting down by holding the power button for 4 seconds and then restarting? Are you sure you hit the Esc key at power on? If not, there may be a problem with the hard drive causing it to open the "Press esc to access menu" message. The inability to use any F keys can also indicate a hard drive problem.
