HP Chromebook - 14-db0044wm

About 2 weeks ago, after no known incidents/crashes, etc., with my HP Google Chromebook, I opened it up to start Christmas shopping and was able to enter my password to sign into my Google profile. However, the screen would then go black, sometimes flicker to my wallpaper or display the toolbar at the bottom, but the cursor was not usable/visible, and then after a few cycles of this display glitching, would return me to the sign in screen. However, I can browse as a guest with no issue. I have tried resetting my password to my Google profile, however it is logged in on other devices and have had no issues with the profile elsewhere. I do not have any external drivers/devices attached to the computer, and have tried a hardware reset as well as updating the Chrome OS from the guest profile, to no avail.  I do not have an external monitor to connect the computer to, and it is no longer under warranty. Is there any helping this situation?
