I recently have been having problems with my touchpad. (i.e. the pad wont detect my fingers) So I updated the driver for my touchpad about 2 days ago, it worked for a bit then failed about 15 minutes after updating I bought a mouse the next day since my tochpad failed the night before, it started working again that morning. After that I wasnt on it at all until I got off work today and the laptop wouldnt let me sign on. The lock screen was frozen and wouldnt let me type my password. I turned it off hoping to turn it back on. AT this point I plugged the power cord into it because I figured the battery was low. After holding the power button it would not turn back on because the screen was black and the caps lock light is blinking. Three times at a steady rhythm with a pause and two quicker blinks, then it repeats.
