Caps lock flashes 3 slow 2 fast

Hi there!

Wanted to help a friend with some updates.

First experience mouse freezing. After reboot no issues. Installed some software. After that, laptop won't restart. Screen stays black. Caps lock blinking a 3 slow 2 fast signal. To my knowledge no BIOS update took place.

Tried to press esc button, F-everything. No menu or whatsoever. Removed and placed back the RAM memory card. Nothing.

Is there still anything I can try? Your help or advice is highly appreciated.
