Chromebook 14a-na0023cl.. purchased this in US for a gift and recipient will now be in Ireland.. do i just need basic outlet converter or do i need a voltage converter or surge protector or something else? I would like to send with chromebook with necessary items for the gift can be enjoyed ..

We can use household power around the world to connect to all standard notebooks/laptops now (actually from the last century). No need a converter, you can use an adapter.
For a short stay you can use a tourist adapter, for longer stay you can change the power cord (only from wall to charger) for more convenience.
