@Bonnie1226, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP touch screen laptop is stuck on the "undoing changes" screen. This issue often occurs when a Windows update fails to install properly. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this:
Restart in Safe Mode:
- Turn off your laptop.
- Turn it back on and immediately start pressing the F11 key repeatedly until the Recovery Environment loads.
- Select your keyboard layout.
- Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- When the menu appears, select Safe Mode (usually option 4 or 5).
Perform a System Restore:
- Once in Safe Mode, open the Command Prompt.
- Type rstrui.exe and press Enter.
- Follow the prompts to restore your system to a point before the update issue occurred.
Run Startup Repair:
- In the Recovery Environment, go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to attempt to repair your system.
Check for Disk Errors:
- Open Command Prompt in the Recovery Environment.
- Type chkdsk /f /r and press Enter.
- Allow the scan to complete and fix any errors it finds.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
