Hi @Taylor196

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I acknowledge the situation. Since the system is stuck in a BIOS reset loop, the recommended approach is to perform a structured BIOS recovery using HP’s official methods. Please follow these steps carefully:

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove any external devices.
  • Hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
  • Reconnect the adapter and attempt to power on.

Use the BIOS Recovery Key Combination

  • With the notebook powered off, press and hold Windows key + B.
  • While holding, press and hold the Power button for 2–3 seconds, then release the Power button but continue holding Windows + B until the BIOS recovery screen appears.
  • If successful, the system will attempt to restore BIOS from the recovery partition.

Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics

  • Power on and immediately press Esc repeatedly.
  • Select F2 – System Diagnostics.
  • Run the System Tests to verify hardware integrity.

Create a BIOS Recovery USB Drive (if the above does not work)

  • On another PC, install the HP Cloud Recovery Tool from HP’s support page.
  • Use it to create a recovery USB drive for your HP Envy model.
  • Insert the USB into the affected notebook, power on, and press EscF9 to boot from USB.
  • Follow the on‑screen instructions to restore BIOS and system software.

Update BIOS and Drivers After Recovery

  • Once the system boots, open the HP App.
  • Run Diagnose & Fix and check for BIOS and driver updates.
  • Apply all available updates to stabilize the system.

For detailed instructions, please refer to HP’s official resource:
HP Notebook PCs – Recovering the BIOS

This process ensures the BIOS is restored correctly and the reset loop is resolved.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
