Hi @Rid321,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP computer is stuck on the spinning circle screen and won’t start up, it’s likely a boot loop or startup issue. Let’s try to fix it step by step:

1. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the PC completely.
  • Unplug the power cable (and battery if removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power and try turning it on again.

2. Boot into Recovery Mode

If the spinning circle persists:

  • Turn off the PC.
  • Turn it on and force shut down as soon as the circle appears (hold the power button).
  • Repeat this 3 times. Windows should enter Recovery Mode on the 4th boot.

Once in Recovery Mode:

  • Choose Advanced Options > Startup Repair.
  • Let Windows attempt to fix the boot issue.

3. Try Safe Mode

  • In Recovery Mode, go to:
    • Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
    • Press F4 to boot into Safe Mode.
  • If it boots successfully, the issue may be caused by a driver or update.

4. System Restore or Uninstall Updates

  • In Recovery Mode, go to:
    • Advanced Options > System Restore (if you have restore points).
    • Or choose Uninstall Updates to remove recent Windows updates.

5. BIOS Restore:

  • Shut down the computer, keep the charger plugged in
  • Hold down the Windows and B buttons together while the computer is still turned off.
  • Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B buttons until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and click on OK.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
