The touchpad on my laptop (hp pavilion x2) is not working, the cursor is not visible. It works perfectly well when I plug in an external mouse, however when I unplug it the cursor will freeze and when I use the touchscreen it will disappear completely. Any help?

Then download and install the version of HP System Event Utility on the following link.

After uninstalling the HP system utility in the control panel as directed in instructions below, I am unable to open my IE browser due to having no mouse cursor nor does my touch screen respond on the start or on the desktop page. So how do I install the recommended Chipset driver?

I am also having this problem after conducting the fix that was suggested. I need a more permanent fix. Thanks.

Good thing I didn't find anything to delete.  This is pretty pathetic.
