Hello HP Community,
I´ve tried to set up drive lock on a Notebook.
It is working, but when I boot it up it only accepts the user password.
The admin password doesn´t unlock the hard drive.
There is one exception: when I open the BIOS after unlocking the hard drive (with the user password) and type in the BIOS password I can, after a reboot, use the admin Password to unlock the hard drive. In this scenario the user password doesn´t work though.
I´ve already updated the BIOS, but without results.
Im using a Samsung SSD 860 EVO M.2 with 500 GB.
Any help would be much appreciated 🙂
Greetings
Grachtenpond
