HP OMEN: 17-w111na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this laptop the other day 2nd hand, when I switch the laptop on it goes straight to 'Enter Administrator or Power On Password'. I've tried getting in to the BIOS by pressing the F1-12 keys with no luck.

The system disabled code is: [i 52317505]. I've tried using the code generator (here)  which does not work for this model.

I tried resetting the BIOS with 'Windows key + B'  and it says 'CMOS checksum invalid'.  I tried the BIOS recovery file here using a USB flash drive. It went through the installation process and rebooted. I'm back to where I started before with 'Enter Administrator or Power On Password'. I would be grateful for any advice as to what to try.

Thank you,

Kam
