Envy 15-dr1144ng not showing any other efi files than Windows

HP Recommended
Envy x360 15-dr1144ng
Linux

I've just updated my envy to BIOS version F10 Rev A. Before I think I had installed F10 too but maybe another revision.

After the bios update (secure boot disabled again after update) I can't select my Linux bootloader (grub2) in the Bios boot order menu. Before the update everything was working fine.

Additional notes:

- When I manually boot grub via pressing F9 everything works normally.

- I had that problem before with another version of the Bios.

Temporary workaround:

- Rename the windows bootmgr efi files to .efi2 for example. The bios will then not find windows to be installed and just boot what it finds.

- Update your bootloader configs to use these new locations for booting windows.

@fabianthomas

I'm sorry, but HP does not provide support for Linux distros.

IF you replace the preloaded Windows OS with a Linux distro, or add a Linux distro, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- including solving any problems with booting the other OS and/or installing the other OS.

Modern PCs with UEFI, instead of the older BIOS, are especially difficult to install because you have to go into the UEFI settings and make several changes before you can even boot from a USB stick -- and we are unable to assist in that work.

Your best bet for support now is to contact the support forum of the distro you are using.

Have you even read my problem or is this some template message?

You did not help me at all. This has nothing to do with my distro nor with my responsibility for maintaining my system, just to get the obvious problems with your post out of the way.
