envy x360 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I noticed that there is a new bios update (F.02 Rev.A sep 25, 18) for Envy x360 15 on the support page.

Tried to install it but the installer says that the device is incompatible with the bios update and therefore I can't install it?

So is it even supposed to work on my laptop or what might be the problem?

I'm on Windows 10 (64-bit) ver. 1809 and the laptop is Envy x360 15 - bq181no.

there are 3 choices:

  1.  F.02 Rev.A 11.3 MB Sep 25, 2018 Fix and enhancements: Provides the initial release
  2. F.17 Rev.A 17.7 MB Apr 11, 2018 Fix and enhancements: Provides enhanced system stability & improved security.
  3. F.08 Rev.A 26.7 MB   Apr 4, 2018 Fix and enhancements: Provides enhanced system stability & improved security.

Just because the 1st update has the newest date, it does not mean that it is the newest BIOS.

In fact, that 1st update is the "initial release" -- should anyone need to replace a corrupted BIOS.

What is the current level of the BIOS in your computer?

If you have the "F.17" level, you already have the newest BIOS.

Thanks for your answer! I have version "F.17" installed so it is the latest one.
