Unfortunately, we are forbidden by HP to assist with any type (Windows or BIOS) of password help request.

This decision by HP to refuse to provide the smc.bin file to allow the refurbishment of a 10 year old PC is incomprehensible and damaging for some of its customers less fortunate than others and it is a great pity for them since, for me and others, the choice of the HP brand is over ... There must be another solution, but this deliberate desire by HP not to assist its customers in this specific case is very disappointing. Thanks anyway to you for trying to help me and farewell to the HP brand. Happy New Year 2021.
