I bought this laptop literally today, and I went to settings to update the software ( it was or is in windows 8.1 ) and I let it updating until a pop up said: need to restart to finish updating or something very similar, and there where 2 options “restart now” and “restart later”. After 5 seconds from clicking restart now a black screen appeared with these text:
Your PC needs to restart.
Please hold down the power button.
Error Code: 0x00000100
Parameters:
0x0000000000000006
0x0000000000000003
0x0000000000000128
0x0000000000000988
and when I turn it on and off, I sometimes get a blue screen Saying: “Your PC couldn’t start properly”
And the error code of the blue screen is: 0xc0000001
The battery on this laptop is not removable unless I actually open the laptop, and I’m not an expert on laptops so please help!

New HP laptops have not had Win8x on them for over 5 years now -- so if this is claimed to be NEW, then my advice is to return it for a full refund as soon as you can.
