I tried to raise my question earlier by means of reacting to the question of somebody else, but it seems not to work :(; so I try again.

I am using my laptop daily with no problem at all. So I did this morning as well, worked with it and turned it off to have lunch.
Starting up again, it showed a blackscreen with a 3F0 error code, saying 'no bootdevice found'  huh?
I did all the UEFI-tests, all passed. I did a hard reset (took out the battery,  held the start-up button for 20 secs., then put the mains on (battery still removed), but no success. I simply cannot accept like that, that the bootdevice is gone.
Is there a way to start up by an USB-stick and try to see what is wrong??

hi

yes possibly try a live linux type key
see if you have access to system disk at least to recover data

[macro]
it can be a material problem!
You can try several things in order to try to recover your data, I give some explanations here, but in French!

que faire en cas d' erreur / échec dst du disque dur - HP Support Community - 7338574

You can try a bootable cd / dvd type live cd (linux)

you can try removing the hard drive, in order to connect it to another computer internally, or with a usb adapter!

If your disk is not completely out of order, this gives you a small chance
