Hi,

Can you provide the exact model or product number (not serial) of the notebook. Here is how to find it:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

"No boot device" could be a Hard Drive failure. You could also try to perform HP diagnostics at startup. Turn off PC by holding the power button. Turn on PC and continuously press ESC until startup menu appears. Next press F2 and perform fast test or at least hard drive test.

Let me know,

David

Fast test comes up as “passed”

Hi,

Try the hard drive test under the compnent tests.

You should also get some install media. You can download media creation tool on another PC, run and create a bootable pendrive with the OS on it.

There is an explanation on how to do this on Microsoft page

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Is the hard drive visible in BIOS?

Let me know,

David
