HP Laptop PC 14-d2000 (2D126AV)

Hello! My laptop suggested an update this morning. After the update, the hp screen will turn on and say "preparing automatic repair." This has continued for hours. I have tried to turn it on and off and the same screen appears. I saw that this is a common problem online, but am unable to resolve it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I can't access any of my settings or my homescreen.

Hello @CTRL1

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

(1) Power on notebook

When seeing the Windows logo press and hold <power> button to power off notebook !

- Repeat this procedure at least 3 times to get into <Windows Recovery Environment>

(2) Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore

- Click Next when the System Restore widget opens.

- In the pop-up window, you may see the restore points you have created. Choose the most recently created one and click Next to continue.

- You are asked to confirm the restore point. If everything is OK, click Finish to start the restoration operation.

Hello @CTRL1

(1) Use another Windows computer to create a Windows 11 Bootable <USB Flash Drive>

--->>> Windows 11 Download

(2) Insert the bootable <USB flash drive> into your Windows 11 notebook and get your notebook to boot from the USB drive

(3After your notebook has finished booting from the Windows 11 <USB flash drive>, choose Next followed by Repair your computer and you will enter the Windows 11 recovery mode.
