when i filled and submitted the form it says hard disk drive error and the HDD may need to be changed.
is there any other solution available ?
given this is now quite an old notebook i am fine to consider replacing the computer.

The only other option would be to use an SSD instead of an HDD as that will get a major performance gain in older equipment -- but the newer models come with SSDs by default.
