Hello everyone,I have a hp laptop and I want to configure it’s fingerprint sensor.
Using windows 10, when I try to check “sign in options” ,2 options are unavailable. The first one is hello face , which I’m not interested in, but the second one is fingerprint.

I tried everything, uninstalling biometrics drivers from  device manager and also from options in control panel.
Also it didn’t worked disabling the service ,deleting biometrics database and enabling it back .
I tried to edit some policies, did a scan for errors and also many other things.
In bios there is no such option as biometrics.

When I am trying to access sign in features , it displays an error something like “we couldn’t find a compatible…”

My last hope are you guys!

Hey ub6424

I don't have that option in bios. I couldn't find it anywhere.

In hp pc hardware diagnostics there is no fingerprint option to test, also it isn't displayed as input device

Despite the fact that the device is shown in device manager. The driver is the only one compatible and it's named "windows hello", the rest of the drivers are not compatible.
