I just bought a newly laptop and set an admin password, however when I tried tk use it the next day i keep receiving wrong password as an error message. Can I reset the computer? If so how? Please help! Thank you

If this is related to Windows login password, please check this thread >> http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/I-forgot-my-password-can-HP-help...
If this is related to BIOS/UEFI password - you need to attempt to enter the BIOS and try 3 times with wrong password. Eventually, you will get something like system disabled code. Write down this code.
Open this site >> www.bios-pw.org and enter the disabled code. You will receive a response code for HP that can be used to enter the BIOS and reset the security settings.
If you already have this disabled code, just visit www.bios-pw.org
Let me know how it goes.
