Product: Hp envy x360

My laptop freezes when it asks for my password. Sometimes it will freeze before I can put in my password. I’ve done a hard reset, I’ve done the bios reset and it keeps freezing in the same spot. I’m in New York for business and everything is on this laptop! Please help.

Hi,

Try performing HP hardware diagnostics at boot to see if there are any hardware problems:

Turn off the PC by holding the power button. Turn on PC and continously keep pressing ESC until startup menu appears and then press F2 to enter diagnostics. Try the fast test, or at least the hard drive test.

See if there are any hardware errors.
