Hi @Chuck563

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how worrying it feels when your Victus PC won’t boot. Let’s walk through some clear steps together to bring it back to life:

Initial checks

  • Ensure the power adapter is firmly connected and the LED on the adapter is lit.
  • If using a power strip, try plugging directly into the wall socket.
  • Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.) and attempt to power on again.

Hard reset

  • Turn off the computer completely.
  • Disconnect the power adapter.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
  • Reconnect the adapter and try powering on.

Display and hardware check

  • If the PC powers on but the screen stays black, shine a light at the display to check for faint images (this helps confirm if the backlight is off).
  • Connect to an external monitor using HDMI to see if the system is working but the internal display isn’t.

BIOS recovery

  • Shut down the computer.
  • Press and hold Windows key + B, then press and hold the power button for 2–3 seconds, and release the power button but keep holding Windows + B until you hear beeps or see the BIOS recovery screen.

System diagnostics

  • Power on the PC and immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  • Press F2 to run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics. This will check memory, hard drive, and other components.

You can find detailed steps for diagnostics and recovery on HP’s official support page:
HP PCs - Computer does not start (Windows 11, 10)

Would you like me to guide you through running the hardware diagnostics first, or focus on BIOS recovery if the system doesn’t respond at all?

If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
