Hello HP Community,

I am using an HP laptop provided under the Government (ELCOT) scheme.

During startup, a Government / customized boot logo appears instead of the default HP logo.

I contacted HP support and was informed that this logo is not sent by HP and may be related to Windows/Microsoft customization.

I would like to confirm from the community and HP experts:

1. Is it possible to remove the Government boot logo and restore the default HP boot logo through:

   - BIOS settings, or

   - Official HP BIOS update, or

   - HP authorized service center?

2. If it is possible, will doing so affect the warranty in any way?

3. If it is not possible, kindly confirm whether this logo is permanently embedded as part of a Government/OEM customization.

Laptop details:

Model: HP 245 G10

Product number: C2BP4PC

OS: Windows 11

Thank you for your guidance.
