i fixed this by replacing the CPU because it had gone bad. Replace the CPU and your laptop will work again.

I have done what you stated for the solution but the laptop retains the black screen and flashing and sync. Is their another solution? Please help,

Before many hours finding the solution - here is the solution...turn on + f8  + know last good configuration...vuola! problem solved.  Did no spend replacing the processor or other costly things......
