Hi,
I'm encountering an issue with installing Windows 10 on my HP 15-DW3058CL laptop. Initially, the hard drive wasn’t showing up during installation, but after following some guidance from the threads below:
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/Can-t-install-windows-10-Hard-drive-not-found...
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Systems-and-Recovery/SSD-not-showing-in-windows-inst...
I was able to get the hard drive to show up and continued with the installation. However, after the installation finished and the system indicated it was going to restart, I’m now stuck in a continuous installation loop. Each time the system restarts, it takes me back to the Windows setup screen, and I’m unable to proceed further.
In BIOS, I see my USB drive listed (the one being used to install Windows), but not the hard disk, which I believe may be preventing the installation from completing.
Could someone please help resolve this issue?
Thank you!

Hi:
If after Windows has installed and the PC reboots for the first time afterward and you are right where you left off to begin the installation, sometimes quickly removing the USB flash drive at the exact moment the PC shuts down to restart, it will continue on with the installation.
I had that happen to me on a couple of PC's.
I walked away to do something else and when I came back the PC was back to the initial Windows setup screen.
I figured maybe something went wrong, so I sat there and watched it and sure enough after the PC restarted for the first time, it went right back to the setup screen.
So, I figured I had nothing to lose by seeing if removing the flash drive at the point the PC shut down right before it turned back on for the restart, if that would resolve the problem, which it did.
