HP 15-f222wm

I am unable to do anything with the laptop as it is asking for the administrator password for the BIOS, which I have never set.

I have tried removing the CMOS battery overnight, which did nothing. I have also tried to get a code by entering a wrong password 3 times and getting the disabled code of [1 18131814].

I also tried holding the Windows Key with the B key while pressing power on, the result of which is a black screen and the Caps Lock key blinks.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi @SunnyDay-7

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer. Any other way of unlocking the BIOS is not authorized by HP.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
