Hi @giuliano771,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I’m sorry you’re going through this; I understand the concern and don’t worry I’ll help you with this.
To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?
When you say “black screen forever,” do the fans or LEDs turn on, or is the laptop completely unresponsive?
Did the BIOS update finish successfully before the restart, or did it freeze during flashing?
Have you tried booting with only AC power to see if there’s any difference?
Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try before resorting to chip programming:
- Hard reset: Disconnect the charger, hold the power button for 30–60 seconds, then reconnect and try again.
- BIOS recovery shortcut: you can attempt BIOS recovery by holding Windows key + B (sometimes Windows key + V) while pressing the power button. If successful, the system should attempt to reload the BIOS from the recovery partition or USB.
- Create a BIOS recovery USB: Use another PC to download the correct BIOS file for your exact model (HP Notebook 15‑bs020nq, product 2KF17EA) from HP’s support site. Use HP’s BIOS Update utility to create a recovery USB, then insert it and try the recovery shortcut above.
- Check HP support site: Confirm whether F.75 is the right BIOS for your model. Sometimes HP autodetect misidentifies the product, and flashing the wrong BIOS can brick the system.
It’s critical to ensure you have the exact BIOS file for your board ID (84DO) and product number, otherwise programming the wrong image could permanently damage the board.
I hope this helps

Sory to tell: you do NOT helped at all.
All you write to me , it was done. The Hp tool assistant pointed me to that bios file, my bad was to not make the bakup first.
Now , the laptop works great because y manage to speak in to the Discord comunity from 3 days ago.
