You're very welcome.
I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
The only thing is the BIOS will display a different model number, product number, and serial number, and you would have to take the notebook to an authorized HP service center and have the motherboard tattooed with the info from your PC.
Not worth doing, in my opinion unless the charge would be nominal.
What about the heat sink? You will need a new one of those, will you not?

OK, with either an A12 or A10 quad core motherboard with the onboard graphics, you'll need this heat sink...For use in models with UMA graphics memory and AMD quad core processors 925017-001.
The part is not orderable from HP.
