I am experiencing a persistent Bluetooth issue on my HP 255 G10 laptop (AMD Ryzen platform). The system is completely unable to discover or connect to any Bluetooth devices or headphones.

What I have already done:

  • I performed a complete Windows 11 pro system reset (reinstallation keeping personal files).

  • I installed the official AMD Chipset drivers directly from the AMD website to ensure the motherboard buses are properly configured.

  • I ran Windows Update, but it finds absolutely no further driver updates for this Bluetooth module.

Right now, with the Generic driver, the Bluetooth is completely "blind" and scans in vain without finding anything.

Current Status & Symptoms (as shown in Device Manager):

  1. Under the Bluetooth section, the system only loads the basic "Generic Bluetooth Adapter" driver from Microsoft.

  2. Under "Other devices", there is still an "Unknown device" remaining.

  3. Previously, when I attempted to force-install Realtek drivers, the system would incorrectly recognize the internal card as a "Realtek Bluetooth Dongle Adapter" and throw an Error Code 31 on LE Audio profiles.

Could you please provide the exact, correct official driver package or a firmware update that can force Windows 11 pro to recognize this internal Realtek card properly instead of leaving it as a Generic Adapter?

Thank you!

This the latest BT driver HP currently has for the RTL8852BE-VT Wi-Fi adapter:

Realtek RTL8xxx Series Bluetooth Driver

Version 54.4038.2602.2600

sp172371.exe

Please post the hardware ID for the unknown device, so I can figure out what driver it needs.
