Failing on applying the OS. Win 10 x64. Works on all other machines. What storage drivers did you import? I think that's what I'm missing. It was odd. I got it to start applying once then it failed and constantly fails. I get a hash error which is odd because the tasks sequence works on all other systems.

I used the Client driver pack. See the Readme for storage driver details: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp73501-74000/sp73599.html and here is the x64 driver pack: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_Driverpack_Matrix_x64.html

"I get a hash error which is odd because the tasks sequence works on all other systems" - maybe delete\ reimport the drivers sounds like something got corrupted.

Did you import all the drivers into you boot wim or just the storage drivers? Can you tell me the exact drivers you imported?

I used WinPE10 x64 boot image and no drivers were required to be injected into the boot wim (both usb ethernet and storage drivers are already present by default in win10).

You are using a PE10 boot image right?

FYI HP client WinPE drivers are here http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_WinPE_DriverPack.html

Yes, I used WinPE 10 x64.

I'm finally not getting the hash error, but still getting an error:

Can you confirm that you must use the HP USB 3.0 to Gigabit LAN Adapter (N7P47AA) in order to PXE boot? In other words, you cannot PXE boot from the USB-C dock itself?

I am no longer having success with this dock and PXE booting. It worked a couple of times soon after the firmware update to 1.12 but it doesn't work any more.

I can also relate to what other users are saying when they mention that they cannot see any Ethernet LEDs light up. The Ethernet LEDs never light up.

It looks as though the USB-C dock stays on standby mode with the dock LED slowly flashing on and off.

2. Reconnect then wait for the usb c dock to sync with 1012 for about 5 seconds, notice lights on dock change pattern.

This step needs to be changed to 10+ seconds and it will work every time.

Basically, you need to drain the tablet of power for the dock to be detected.

When you plug the USB-C plug into the tablet, it will flash white and orange and then the Ethernet LEDs will light up.

PXE boot works immediately with that adapter. There is no wait time.

have you read this post regarding this error? This is more an SCCM deployment issue than 1-12 driver issue..  http://configurationmanager2012.blogspot.co.nz/2013/02/task-sequence-problem-after-migration.html

ok, I changed to 10 secs in my post. The newer bios versions will fix this.

My experience in this matter is that it isn´t the docking station that is the problem, it's the usb-c port (or a combination).

When I just enter bios setup and then leave bios, without doing any changes, the usb c-port stops working, regardless if the docking station or a usual usb-c flash memory is in the port.

I hold the power button for about 12 seconds and then the port is working again after boot.

When the port is empty and I do the same thing (in and out of bios setup) the port is still working.

I managed to see network option in bootorder setup in bios after I unplugged the dock and waited a while before I plugged it in and enter bios. The problem is that when I have changed bootorder to network boot, saved settings and reebooted, the port stopped working and the LAN-port is unreachable.

I have updated bios to 1.12 A 1 - still the same.

I have the same problem on 5 different x2 models.

I have an ongoing case at HP support but still no solution.

The dock I´m using is HP Elite USB-C Docking Station(T3V74AA)

Anyone else experience the thing with usb-c port or is it just docking station that is your problem.
