Does anyone know of any method to remove the BIOS Admin password from a HP EliteBook 2170p. I reached out to HP support and was told they no longer take care of this. Help

Hi:

 

Unfortunately the only way to remove the BIOS password was by obtaining a SMC.bin file from HP to remove it.

 

HP no longer offers this service due to privacy issues.

As forum members, we are no longer able to assist anyone with removing BIOS passwords (which no one would have been able to do anyway in your particular circumstance).
