Before going back to the original BIOS file, I recommend you read all of the release notes under the revision history section for the latest BIOS update:

 

HP EliteBook 840 G7 Notebook PC Software and Driver Details

 

After you do that, you can find the original BIOS download (01.01.05) listed first on the list of previous BIOS downloads.
