Laptop working fine in the morning.  Turn off.   Same day in the afternoon, upon power up, Bitlocker asks for PIN and on the 1st try , it shows "Too many PIN entry attempts ".  It is repeatable on every power up.  The workaround right now is to use the Recovery Key.   Any assistance or recommendations [ without a complete machine re-do approach ] will be appreciated.   Thanks and have a good day.

I don't know what you mean by "complete re-do" but if you are implying a factory reset -- that will not work because you have an encrypted drive.

Once you use the recovery key, you should be able to get back in and you should not continue to have the problem.

Hi,  Thanks for the feedback.  Not a factory reset.  Just a configuration re-do or adjustment of settings.  Please note that "Too many PIN entry attempts " is repeatable on every power up.  Some settings seems to be stuck.  The workaround right now is to use the Recovery Key.   Thanks and have a good day.
