Hi hawiie,
It is great to know that you have tried many correct and good steps to figure out the cause of blinking charger lights. It is not clear since how long you have this issue.
We can try couple of steps of doing BIOS update. Try the following steps one at a time.
1) As you turn the computer on, keep tapping on F10. This will show the boot options. Press F9 to choose the default settings. Press Y and then press F10 to save and exit.
This will restart the computer.
2) Press and hold windows key and the letter B , while holding them down , press the power button till it turns on ..now let go all the buttons... after a while the screen will show Bios recovery. Wait for the recovery to complete.. an then check if the computer is working.
Please get back with the result.
Thanking you for choosing HP
Regards,
Ashok

Yes .. although you have done the update, we can once more , and if that does not work, then we need to get the computer repaired. This means you will have to contact HP at 1-800-474-6836.
The tech support centre will be able to arrange the repair option, depending on the warranty status of your computer.
Thank you for your reply. You have a great day

Thank you Hawiie for the video. I did see the computer turning on, but the screen remains blank. I also understand that you have already tried the bios update.
One more thing you may try is CBR or otherwise called as bios recovery . So, for this .. turn the computer off.
Press the windows key and the letter B , while holding them down press on the power button till computer turns on.. and then let go all the buttons. Wait for some time ,( 30 seconds) and see if you see anything on the screen .. It should normally tell us BIOS recovery or update. If you see such a screen , follow the instruction, it will restart the computer on its own.
It would be greatly helpful, if you could tell me the outcome of this test.
Thank you hawiie for the prompt reply.
Take care.
Ashok
