Hawie,  that is right.   The caps lock blinking can be due to the issue with the bios or CPU failure .. Now, that depends on the pattern of blinking .  

 

Like :   if the caps lock blinks once, then it will be a CPU  issue ..    2 blinks , issue with BIOS ..  more than 6  blinks relates to BIOS authentication .. like that the list goes on ..

The charging light is the only one there that is blinking when turning on then fan run fast.
But somethimes i saw caps and num lock are blinking 5x , 4x, sometimes 2x. But my laptop is not totally dead sometimes it turn on.
Then I do Some Hardware test and everything is fine but at the systemDiag log file
I see error 'HP Battery Control Protocol 2010' Not found.

Well .. if the computer is working fine, then we can continue to use it , and hope it does not give any more trouble.  You may need to contact HP Support , only if the issue re-occurs .. The message Battery control protocol , not found .. can be ignored , if the computer is working fine..

Thats good it works fine but i didnt.
There are more times that is dead than working

I ordered motherboard i think problem is motherboard i ll be back if its okay.
